I bought these vintage 1970's beads from a jewelry parts store in Providence, Rhode Island. This was the heart of light manufacturing in the United States and in its day known as the costume jewelry capital of the world. I bought them because they remind me of a necklace that Sara would wear that was from her grandma. We made them into these lovely necklaces. They are such a nice shape to hold onto, smooth and egg-like. Sometimes we are so original, I like that.
